Welcome to Women in Mathematics in Regensburg!

The goal of this group is to promote and support the participation and advancement of women in the field of mathematics in Regensburg. We would like to create a network of women mathematicians and to provide resources and support for their academic and professional development. We also aim to raise awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion in mathematics and to foster a supportive and welcoming environment for all women in the field.
Through our events, workshops and other resources, we hope to pursue careers in mathematics and to provide a supportive community for those who are already in the field.

Our goal is to bridge the gender gap in academia and so everyone with an interest in mathematics, such as bachelor and master students, PhD students and more advanced positions in or outside academia is welcome!
