Aims/Scope

The rough intention of the conference is to bring together researchers interested in the following fields:

  • topological modular forms and generalizations
  • modular invariants from Dirac operators
  • secondary and higher invariants related to the Witten genus and generalizations - geometric and field theoretic constructions
  • vertex operator algebraic aspects
  • other sources of modularity of geometric and analytic invariants

Excursion and Dinner

We will hike from Regensburg to Adlersberg, where we have dinner (and beer) in a very nice Biergarten. The hike will be about 8-9 km through the 'Winzerer Höhen', a nice area along the Danube.

We meet at 3:00 pm at the steinerne Brücke in Regensburg downtown and plan to be in Adlersberg around 6:00 pm. After dinner there will be a chartered bus which takes us back to Regensburg. For those how do not want to hike we will also organize transportation to Adlersberg.

Soccer

At thursday afternoon we will play soccer at the university sport center. Note that we play on artificial turf.
