In this talk, I will present an intrinsically infinity-categorical description of animated λ-rings in terms of Frobenius lifts. Animated λ-rings provide an integral version of the notion of an animated δ-ring which is central to the stacky formulation of prismatic cohomology due to Bhatt and Lurie. I will review the theory of animated δ-rings, prove two equivalent descriptions of the animation of the 1-category of λ-rings and end with some outlooks.
