Women of Mathematics throughout Europe (May 5 - June 5 2022)

From May 5th until June 5th, the faculty of Mathematics showcased the travelling exhibition "Women of Mathematics throughout Europe", to enable young females with an interest in the Mathematic field to find role models in said field and also to encourage them to further pursue an academic career in Mathematics.

This exhibition showcased the world of Mathematics in a female perspective, by displaying photographs and excerpts from interviews by 20 Mathematicians from all over Europe. This exhibition was created by Sylvie Paycha, who is a professor of Mathematics in Potsdam, and Noel Tovia Matoff, a photographer from Berlin.
